Yikes...4 years? For real?

I'd say that I've been on hiatus from here, but I'm honestly not sure how long that excuse holds...looks like my last post was something on the order of close to 4 years ago. But then, I suppose it's to be expected. I gave myself a journal. As Mark Twain once said, "If you wish to inflict a heartless and malignant punishment upon a young person, pledge him to keep a journal a year." And so I did, and so I failed. Alas.

So, today, valiant readers, I recommence my haphazard recording of personal reflections and general recounting of my activities. Er...enjoy.
